Goodman are proud supporters of Ben’s Friends and Action Against Hunger
Ben’s Friends is a network of safe and supportive patient communities for anyone affected by
a rare disease or chronic condition.
Recognised as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Ben’s Friends is a grassroots organisation run by
patients for patients.
It is not a top down, “expert advice” experience but a community offering peer to peer
support.
The value of this approach is evidenced by the hundred volunteer moderators, who are either
patients themselves or relatives of patients, who believe in the mission and are willing to
invest their time and share the knowledge and insights they have gained with members
arriving daily in need of help.
Ben’s Friends considers the patient perspective in everything they do.

This autumn, we’re thrilled to be taking part again in Love Food Give Food for Action Against Hunger. We’re joining forces with hundreds of restaurants across the UK, raising funds to help children worldwide survive and grow up strong. During September and October, you’ll have the option to donate £1 with your table bill to support Action Against Hunger’s vision of a world free from hunger.
This year is extra special as every single £ you donate whilst dining with us this autumn is going to be doubled by the UK Government! So your donation will go twice as far in helping to change lives for the better. The UK Government will double your donation so mums and kids in Senegal can be supported with the nutrition and care they need to be healthy, as part of Action Against Hunger’s Healthy Mums Healthy Kids appeal.
